1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TekBeacon.org and all associated content, products, and services ("Platform"), operated by TekBeacon ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, subscribing to a membership, or purchasing any product on TekBeacon.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use this Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Accounts and Registration
To access most TekBeacon features, you must register for an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and current information at registration
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
Accept responsibility for all activity conducted under your account
Account sharing is prohibited. Each account is licensed to a single individual user. Multi-seat access is available exclusively under the TekBeacon Architect tier.
4. Membership Tiers and Access
TekBeacon offers three membership tiers:
TekBeacon Watchtower — Free
Access to TekBeacon TV, TekBeacon Radio, TekBeacon Signals (weekly newsletter), and the General Discussion community topic.
TekBeacon Analyst — $49/month or $490/year
Everything in Watchtower, plus Intelligence Reports (premium PDF downloads), Implementation Playbooks (premium PDF downloads), and the Pro Strategy & Analysis community topic.
TekBeacon Architect — Coming Q3 2026 (Waitlist)
Everything in Analyst, plus custom infrastructure tools (API Cost Forecaster, Grid Tracker), the Enterprise Architecture Q&A community topic, and multi-seat team licensing.
Membership benefits are defined by the tier active at the time of your subscription. We reserve the right to modify features within a tier with 30 days' advance notice.
5. Billing and Subscriptions
Paid memberships are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Podia and Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize TekBeacon to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date
Annual Billing: Annual subscribers are charged the full annual fee at the start of each billing cycle
Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance written notice. Continued subscription after a price change constitutes your acceptance
Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Stripe. TekBeacon does not store or have access to your payment card information
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Podia account settings.
Upon cancellation:
You retain full access to your paid membership benefits through the end of your current billing period
No prorated refunds are issued for unused time remaining in a billing period
Your account automatically reverts to TekBeacon Watchtower (Free) access at the end of the billing period
7. Refund Policy
Memberships: Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We do not issue refunds or credits for partial billing periods.
Digital Downloads (Intelligence Reports and Playbooks): All digital product purchases are final. Due to the immediate-delivery nature of digital goods, we do not offer refunds once a product has been successfully delivered to your account.
Exceptions may be made at TekBeacon's sole discretion in cases of documented technical failure preventing product delivery. Requests must be submitted to legal@tekbeacon.org within 7 days of purchase.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on TekBeacon.org — including Intelligence Reports, Implementation Playbooks, TekBeacon Signals newsletter, TekBeacon TV video content, TekBeacon Radio audio content, editorial copy, graphics, brand assets, and the TekBeacon name and marks — is the exclusive intellectual property of TekBeacon and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property law.
Your membership grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use TekBeacon content solely for your own personal or internal business intelligence purposes.
You may not:
Reproduce, copy, publish, or redistribute any TekBeacon content in any format
Resell, sublicense, or share access to paid content with unauthorized users
Use TekBeacon content to develop, train, or fine-tune any artificial intelligence model or competing intelligence product
Publicly display, broadcast, or create derivative works from TekBeacon materials without prior written consent
Unauthorized use will result in immediate account termination and may result in legal action.
9. Community Standards
TekBeacon's community is a professional B2B intelligence environment. All members agree not to:
Post spam, unsolicited promotions, or off-topic commercial solicitations
Engage in harassment, threats, discrimination, or personal attacks toward any member
Share confidential or proprietary information belonging to third parties
Impersonate any individual, company, or organization
Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law
TekBeacon reserves the right to remove any content and to suspend or terminate any account for violations of these standards at our sole discretion, without refund.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
TekBeacon content is provided for informational and business intelligence purposes only. Nothing on TekBeacon.org constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for how you apply any information accessed through this Platform.
THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TEKBEACON DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TEKBEACON, ITS FOUNDER, AFFILIATES, AND REPRESENTATIVES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL TEKBEACON'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TEKBEACON IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TekBeacon, its founder, affiliates, officers, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your infringement of any third-party intellectual property or other rights; or (d) your User Content or community contributions.
13. Termination
TekBeacon reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to the Platform or its community. Upon termination for cause, no refund will be issued for any remaining subscription period.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting legal@tekbeacon.org to request account deletion.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alexandria, Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of TekBeacon.org after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any product-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and TekBeacon regarding use of the Platform and supersede any prior agreements.
